Aimen Taki

Aimen is an electrical engineer who concentrated his studies on renewable energy and renewable energy integration into the grid. Since graduating, he has joined Network Rail as an engineer and was involved in a number of projects looking at improving the levels of energy efficiency within the company. He has been the Energy Manager for Network Rails’ Kent and Sussex regions for the past 12 months, where he has been tasked in delivering carbon emissions efficiencies, as well as developing a strategy that aligns the regions with the government's targets of net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
